Public Evidence Record 05

July 6, 2026 — A host-school LOP route had already closed.

Queen’s Law confirmed that the May 1 deadline for 2026–27 Letter of Permission applications had passed and late applications could not be considered.

What this record establishes: by July 6, one concrete external degree-completion route was no longer available for the 2026–27 year because the application deadline had expired.

Source record

“The deadline to apply as an LOP applicant for the 2026–2027 academic year was May 1, 2026. Unfortunately, we are unable to accept or consider late applications at this time.”

The response came after Renee wrote to Queen’s Law seeking guidance about whether documented administrative delay could support a late Letter of Permission application.

Why it matters

This record does not establish why the deadline was missed or assign responsibility for that result. It establishes a narrower fact: by the time the July 2026 return-path issue was still being worked through, at least one receiving-school option had become unavailable for that academic year.
